Holy Cross Hospice, Kerala, Perumpadappu and Kothamangalam

In Kothamangalam, since 2004 we have supported the training of nurses through a two-year programme of study. This is followed by a one-year placement and the final examination. With the certificate they earn, the nurses have excellent professional and earnings prospects.

The Holy Cross Hospice (in Perumpadappu) was founded in 1998 for cancer patients in order to provide palliative care. It is able to care for some 50 to 60 patients each year, free of charge.

The foundation provided funding for medicines and for the construction of a drinking-water treatment plant.

Total funding 1977 to 2022: EUR 200,000.
